I bought 3 bags of the subject products and they came in small plastic bags. The slices look small compare to the photo. I went to local store and their price is lower and seems better quality.

Over 60% of production comes from two major growers, TongRenTang and Baumann, who export nearly all of it to China. This means genuine Wisconsin ginseng is rare and more expensive, which is why many local merchants import from Canada or Northeast China at lower prices.
